I like these because of the collage of the different people and animals with a heavy use of black to merge them all together. The colours used complement each other well also, especially the bottom one,
This one is my favorite of JImmy Turrel i like the vintage look of it and the rainbow coming out of the old reel player (or what ever it is) The use of pink and red through out the picture works really well
This one is simple with the white face on black to make it the focus of the piece and the fading out red spots make it aesthetically pleasing,
i like straight divide between the blue and red. Also the subtble differences like the fist in the red and peace sign in the blue at the bottom. The campaign for nuclear disarmament sign (better known as the peace sign) and the star (which looks quite military) in the eyes. Then the dove and fighter jet, this whole piece is about war and peace.

This one is a good contrast between old Japan (Samurais etc.) and new Japan (Technology)

I these because they are quite comical and the pattern on the facial hair is intricate and detailed. I also like the font used, especially the 'o' because its always smaller than the other letters.
I like this because of the clever use of line, especially in the sky, he has taken out the lines in the sky to give the impression of a big cloud. It sort of looks like the old illustrations that you would see in news papers. I am also drawn to it because i love things to do with the sea like sea creatures, fish, diving equipment, boats etc.
I like this one because the use of colour, if you look closely you can see that the white circle in made out of lots of white objects from cd's toilet roll and trainers. I think they have tried to recreate the middle of a vinyl record, but instead of putting these objects on black background they are placed on grass. This gives it a more organic feel.

I like these detailed drawings of women and the explosion of colour added
These are in the same style but a very big contrast, from beautiful women to car recks, the detail in the drawings is very good though.
