I think how this design work has been photographed is really good. The blue inside the envelope is a nice touch.

Letter heads
I like the idea of having a full colour backside to the letter head. Dividing lines also work well at the top inbetween info.

Audience
When I am thinking who I am designing for I have to take inconsideration geography. Because there are no mountains and not very good surf in Brighton or any where particularly close I need to assume that the people that shop in 'Surf and Ski' are relatively affluent to afford equipment for these holidays they must be having. The type of people who surf and ski are usually quite rich, (when in the UK.) but are usually seen as alternative/crusty etc. So when designing I need to consider to show a message of being alternative but not to posh ,
Other Shop Fronts / Logos
Ski shop
Not many Ski shops that I could find images of, I guess there all in the mountains. This has sans serif font with a very 'woody' old yet modern style.
Surf shops
I like the white type used on the right window, long weighty sans fonts seem appropriate for surfing.

New York wall painters
Relating to my idea of the big style wall painting on the 'surf & ski' shop front. Stella Artois commissioned a set of changing wall paintings in New York City.
I couldn't embed the the full film, its 12 mins long but its pretty interesting and beautifully shot. Have a look here....
